Historical Records

The historical records of the archive reflect a lifelong journey of artistic inquiry, memory, and cultural continuity. Among the earliest preserved moments is an incident from the age of ten, when a sketch drawn by Anuragk Gupta was received by the President of India, Giani Zail Singh. The archive further includes newspaper articles and published references documenting the artistic journey across different periods, alongside rare historical newspaper cuttings dating back to the 1920s that trace the lineage of the family through references to his grandfather and great-grandfather a continuum of history, memory, and inheritance whose impressions continue through generations.

Over the years, the works have entered diverse public, institutional, and private collections associated with distinguished personalities including former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh, Governors, senior bureaucrats, industrialists, institutions, corporates, and international collectors from Russia and the United States. Together, these records form an evolving archive of consciousness, culture, and lived human experience.
